A downloadable game for Windows
“Under what?” is a short but very capacious story-tale about an old fisherman who suddenly faced the surface of the water. In this story there will be no dragons, the battle of good and evil, and other boring nonsense. But there will be some bad jokes and extraordinary characters.
This visual novel is absolutely free (so if you think to sell it to someone, do not forget to share the earnings). It doesn’t require on-time spell casting and late game artefacts. It is recommended in a relaxed atmosphere with a cup of tea.
I would call this project an interactive comic rather than a visual novel or game. I spent much more time on development than I thought. I hope you will enjoy it!
Two languages available: Russian and English

I love the chill vibes of it, paired by the music, and the art is beautiful. I was a bit confused at the start, but then I realized I just need to click. Hooked!
The visuals piqued my interest, but there was no way to describe the feeling it left me with. Great job on this, its something to remember.
I am glad that I played this game.
Love it. Keep up the good work fisherman.
Absolutely love the music in this game and the game overall was a nice change of pace. I enjoyed it very much!
I wanted to play the game ever since I saw the visuals, but I did not expect how it made me feel. This game's surrealism really speaks to me, and I think I fell in love with it a little bit
"Under What?" had me at the visuals and music. I really love the art style and the chill aesthetic the game gives off while playing it! The game definitely has you thinking by the end (and probably not coming to any concrete answers if you're like me). Give it a shot if you like chill atmosphere and philosophical questions!
Made a video on your game
I will never get it.
Great unique visuals, smart story. Can we expect any more?
I. Loved. It. Well written, obscure and charming. Will keep an eye on future releases.
Wow, beautiful illustrations, it was a delight to read! I'm inspired now, thank you for this!
A funny and unexpected experience, with a beautiful art style and music. Love how you combined puns and memes with the classical, rather solemn fable / fairy tale vibe. Please make more! <3
what a lovely little clickthrough game!! i made a video on it :D
Great artwork here and such a fun little story. Love the mechanic of my clicks advancing the frames! I wish I could do more to support developers like you but good luck with future games!
This is such a pretty and fun game! I feel really bad for not being able to pay for it, but you will definitely be on my list for future reference, I'm looking forwards to seeing more of your work, and I wish you the best of luck :)
Интересная игра, порадовало, что есть русский язык. Спасибо за труды :)
Really beautiful art style, very charming, it felt like a fairy tale or fable type story. Really incredible job!
I really loved this game. The artwork is amazing and music is great! I loved the humor and puns of this game. I live for great puns and it made the game even more fun. After recording and re-watching this I realized it seemed to have a deeper message, or at least to me it did, and I'm sad I didn't notice it during my original play through of the game. Great job!
Love the game. The artwork is really awesome. The story is simple and little but awesome.
VERY INTERESTING INDEED.
thank you for attention!
I really liked the art style you guys had for this visual novel. Additionally, you definitely did not flounder with coming up with some funny banter between the fish and the old man!
can't wait for the sequel; ": UnderWhere? " and then the prequel " underWHY :
hah I will start big project soon. It will be full of the same jokes and tales
This is great! I love the witty humor, the colorful backgrounds, and the funny characters. The choices were amusing and the way the fish and the old man threw jabs at each other made me smile. I would to see more games like this!
Great art style but I think my sleep addled brain completely missed the meaning of this game!
haha thank you. I was enjoying watching your video. This is fairy tale, so you have not to search deep (Well, you understand "deep") meaning :D
Fell in love with the art in the game and replayed it because if the amazing witty characters you created. This was so gorgeous and the music put me in such a relaxed mood! How long have you been working on this game? :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
Such an interesting story and characters! I loved the jokes, even the "Hows the family" lol really looking forward to playing more of your work!
thank you! you made me laugh in some moments (my girlfriend respect you for understanding "ligma" joke :D )
I came for the art and puns, and left with a lesson. Even if that wasn't your intent, I got a message from playing this. I loved this! Please keep up the amazing work!
thank you! I started to create it for art and puns as well :D As result I've got a story full of sense. Under water magic ;)
FISH called me a nerd >:(
He called me "a nerd" or "Sad sack" many times too! I almost fired him from the title role
such a charming little game with puns I can enjoy.
thank you for your attention! It was really fun to watch your video :D
Nice Storyline :)
